Binaytara Foundation's Upcoming 2022 Continuing Education Conferences

Fall brings five conferences to the Pacific Northwest and Utah

The Binaytara Foundation has organized five conferences in September and October, located in three states, Washington, Oregon, and Utah. Most of the conferences are geared toward all oncology medical professionals, with the exception of the Oncology Nursing Summit. Two of the conferences will be held simultaneously at one venue. CME credits will be available for all attendees.

Cellular Therapy Conference

Coming up first is the Cellular Therapy Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. This conference will feature lectures and discussions from experts in the field of cellular therapies on how CAR techniques can be used to treat patients with cancer and hematologic and non-hematologic disorders.

“The conference agenda includes an in-depth discussion and analysis of the latest scientific findings and practice-changing advances in chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) based therapies. …faculty will aim to place the role of different therapeutic agents in clinical context and discuss how to utilize these therapeutic options to effectively contribute to patient care.”

Located at the beautiful Salt Lake City Center Hilton, the event will also feature several faculty from the Huntsman Cancer Institute, one of the leading cancer research institutions in the area. 6.75 CME credits will be given to attendees. Northwest Women’s Cancer Conference

The Northwest Women’s Cancer Conference is the following weekend, September 17, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Portland, Oregon. Featured faculty will include experts in breast and gynecologic cancers who will discuss the latest scientific findings and how they can be used to improve patient care. 5.5 CME credits will be available.

The conference overview states, “The goal of this activity is to improve the knowledge and competence of learners to apply practice-changing clinical data and expert recommendations to optimize clinical outcomes for patients with breast cancer and gynecologic malignancies.”

Precision Oncology Conference

On October 7-8, the Binaytara Foundation will host the Precision Oncology Conference, also located at the Salt Lake City Center Hilton. The overview describes it as a conference “featuring leading experts in the field of precision oncology who will provide a comprehensive overview of implications of actionable molecular alterations across common malignancies.”

Northwest Oncology Nursing Summit

The Northwest Oncology Nursing Summit, focused on precision oncology, is taking place on October 22, 2022 at the Grand Hyatt in Seattle, WA.

“The goal of this activity is to improve the knowledge and competence of learners to apply practice-changing clinical data and expert recommendations to optimize clinical outcomes for patients with hematologic malignancies and solid tumors.”

The target audience of this event is more specific, and includes oncology nurses, oncology nurse practitioners, oncology physician assistants, oncology pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of patients with cancer. 6 nursing contact hours/CME credits will be offered. Seattle Multidisciplinary Thoracic Oncology Conference

Lastly, the Seattle Multidisciplinary Thoracic Oncology Conference will be held on October 22, 2022, at the Grand Hyatt Seattle, coinciding with the Nurses Summit. Leading experts in thoracic cancers will present lectures and discussions with a review of the latest advances and questions in the treatment of thoracic cancers.
